NEXPEED NM220G is a SHDSL bridge modem, which allows multiple PCs sharing high speed internet access. ITU-T Standard(G.991.2) based G.shdsl technology provides symmetrical data rates of 200Kbps to 2.3Mbps with a range up to 7km using single pair of ordinary telephone wire. It can function as a remote LAN to LAN application, or as a Customer premises Equipment to the NexComm’s SHDSL 4 port iMUX Router NR104G or other vendor’s IP based DSLAMs.
NM220G can be configured as two types by simply setting parameters in HTTP server, one is Master Unit which operates as Central Office Equipment and the other is Slave Unit as a Customer Premises Equipment which doesn’t need to be configured at remote site. The device has been designed for use both in office and home environments, compact in size and supporting plug-and-play to provide convenience for users.
